Learn everything you need to know to work “in the direct” to create a reproduction of a classical Roman mosaic. You will gain insight into the art and history of mosaic as well as learning the fundamentals of the design process. Additionally, you will gain experience with the specific tools and techniques of mosaic art, including the Ravenna-style framing technique.
